<< A Penny for a thought >>

My 3 months school holiday is coming to an end soon.
I am left with 13 more days to enjoy before hitting the books again.
Seriously, I feel kinda sad cos good times always fly by without realising it.
And I hv been receiving ntu email that the lecture notes are ready for printing.
Suddenly I hv this phobia of going back to sch.
A lot of projects and presentation are waiting for me. And FYP!
I hv nv done an individual project before and this time its not only indivdual, its a big project too.
I hope I am capable enough to handle all this!

Went to buy Penang coach ticket last night.
And I just rcv a hotel confirmation call from the travel agent.
Everything is settled! Penang here I come!
Leaving on 3rd of aug and coming back on the 6th of Aug.
I am going to try the famous Penang laksa, beef noodle soup, mee goreng and chendol!!
Msia is having mega sales now but I am not quite interested in it.
I seldom shop for clothes in msia.
I only shop for food.
My motto: Live to eat not eat to live.

I hate it whenever frens and relatives told me " You lost weight again ar? "
I went for home tuition last sun and my kid's mother told me that.
I met up with my colleagues last wed for supper and they said the same thing too.
I know Tiff would love to hear this phrase.
I went to weigh myself and my weight is still the same leh.
I tried so hard to put on weight just one kg and it seems like an impossible task.
I can almost visualise Tiff shooting her fierce look at me when she read this.
I guess things always work the opposite way.
The more u want to slim down, the more weight u put on.
The more u want to put on weight, the more u slim down.
I shall slim down from now on!

My sentosa trip with fireworks and beer under the starry night has come true.
Me and Tiff hv been saying this about a month ago.
I hv been super excited about it since yest when I rcv the message from Tiff.
Wendy, CK and Reece are joining us.
Tiff always has a group of fun loving frens!
I missed Nath! Haha. Shhhh..dun tell her hor.
I always heard Tiff mention abt Reece but I hv totally no idea who is him.
Tiff, rem to intro this good fren of urs to me k.
I guess it would be a very fun trip and I am really looking forward to it.

Has been MIA for more than one week.
I hv been busy surfing the net for hp and visiting singtel shop.
I hv saw quite a few hp that I like but the price wise..ahem..
Waiting for National Day to come. Maybe they will hv some great promotion.

Got this photo from my fren. I cant wake up to see the beautiful sunrise. What a waste! Watched England match the night before.
Eh.. itiz the same ship that pass by the rock?? Or itiz sunset?..

Goodbye to beautiful sea, Nemo and all the fishes!! I will miss this place.

Celebrated Gazeboo july babies 22nd bdae on last friday.
Last min shopping for presents.
Thank god we still managed to get what u gals want.
Its not the present that counts, its the thought that counts. ^_^

Tmr is my fyp selection dateline.
And I am still dilli dalli.
I hate hassle. Why cant ntu just choose for us?
I din go sch to meet any prof and neither did I do any research on the proj I am interested in.
I just cant be bothered with it.
It doesnt matter which proj I choose becoz I hv simply no interest in it right from the beginning.
I just want to get over it and done.
Anyway I am choosing electronics related proj-Nano fabrication.
Last year. Final lap to go.

I finally went to change my hairstyle.
Goodbye to maggie mee or curly fries.
I spent 5.5hrs in the saloon and I wasnt very satisfied with the outcome. =(
It was not funky enough and it looked funny. Or itiz my xin li zhuo yong?
I spent a total of $140 for the perm and highlight.
The highlight was not very ideal as compared to the last time.

Tiff, when are we going to sentosa for fireworks?
I am getting impatiently le.
Hoe about next week before I leave for Penang on the 3rd of Aug.

Met up with Tiff last nite.
She must be missing me so much that she teared! Haa.
Initially wanted to ask her go jogging in the evening but din confirm with her.
I was at Raffles shopping centre and was abt to go home when I called her.
She was at Paradiz centre which was quite near to where I was.
After asking for direction, we finally meet up each other at suntec.

I couldnt recognised her for a moment.
Cause she is in sneakers, jeans and tee.
Used to seeing her in heels and dressing maturely.
We went to Marina Square for a walk.
Quite like the place there after renovation cause there isnt so much crowd.
I din prepared to shop for any clothes but somehow we tried alot of clothes.
Just trying for fun anyway.

After shopping for a while, we started to look for place to sit down.
I knew she will suggest that place.
I was reluctant initially. I duno why I dun like the idea of going there.
But in the end we still went. And I hv promised Tiff not to anyhow think again!
Enjoyed chatting with Tiff on a windy night with almost perfect atmosphere.

I din waste a single day of my holiday.
Its is the most fulfilling holiday so far despite the fact that I din look for any part time job.
The month of july is always the busiest month.
There are so many july babies in this month.
Shopping for presents and planning for bdae celebration cum gathering.
Attention to the July babies!! Pls send me ur bdae wishlist by next week.
I am still eagerly waiting for the date at sentosa with fireworks to come.
Tiff, get well real soon. Will wait for u to come back from msia.
And after that will be my turn to go msia.
I am planning to pay my relatives a visit at KL, then make a trip down to Penang for some real good food.
And hoping can go to Genting Casino before the sch term starts.

Still looking for a handphone to change.
Dear Nokia or Samsung users, any nice phone to recommend?
Cant wait to change it asap.

For god sake, can the sky please rain?
The weather is damn bloodly hot and humid.
I am perspiring like hell. Lost count of the number of times I hv bathed.
And I am right here rotting in my house.
I AM BORED TO DEATH!!
I have done all the household chores upon reaching spore.
I am trying hard to drown all the unhappiness i bought back from the trip.

I am planning for my next short trip again.
Maybe going to msia again.
But this time will have a bit of problem cos my tuition has started.
I am not rich. But I am spending every single cents in my back account just to escape from something.
I thought that the Redang trip will be much better than the thailand trip.
But it turned out to be worst.
The $250 is not wasted.
Its the 10 yrs of frenship that is wasted.

I really treasure the 3months of holiday I have.
Counting down the days, crossing out the date on my calendar...
Cos I know my last year in ntu is gonna be a tough ride.
Alrite I am going to give my best shoot for my final year.
My last roller coaster ride in ntu. I have fasten my seat belt and ready to chiong!!

I hv decided not to find a temp job.
I hv calculated. My current tuition job is enough for me to survive for the rest of the 32 days.
Assumption: No shopping for clothes.
I hv not been hanging out in cafes for quite some time.
Missed the chill out session at cafe. Cakes and ice cream are enough to make me go crazy.
Did my glutton look appear in ur mind now? Hee.

I am so happy that I am finally starting my first game of squash this wkend.
I hv bought the racket and the ball.
Cant wait to get started and whack the ball!!

Another happy news to share with u gals.
I hv finally waited for the right time to change my hp.
I CAN CHANGE MY HANDPHONE LE!!!
I went to call up singtel and check my 2 yr plan expiry date.
To my surprise, its on Oct this year which is over the 21mths already.
I can type and send chinese in the future.
Haha. I am over the moon.

My 3D2N beach holiday at Redang Island has ended.
10 hours of bus journey + 2hrs of ferry to the Island.
The route was meandering that it was so difficult to fall asleep on the bus.
I hate the ferry trip. The engine was very noisy and nearly puke on the ferry.
But everything is worthwhile when you see the beach. The sea water has three shades of blue. ^_^

I looked tanned but no luckily sunburn. =(
I expect the sun to be sorching hot and I even bought a sunblock with SPF70.
Day one I applied 2 layers of sunblock but the subsquent days I dun feel like applying anymore.

The snorkeling trip was fulfilling. A total of 3 places to visit.
Marine Park is the best of all. More things to see and the sea water was clearer.
But too bad I cant take photos to let u guys see.
I could have see more things under the deep blue sea if not for my breathing problem.
I always forgot to breathe with my mouth.
I ended up inhaling alot of sea water and got disrupted alot of times during snorkeling.

I din expect a non-swimmer like me to have a chance to be in the middle of the big sea.
I hestitated for quite some time before jumping down from the speedboat even tho I have a life jacket with me.
And my poor fren Yufeng has to keep telling me 'Just let go of your hand. U will be fine cos u hv a life jacket with you. DUN WORRY!!'
But still I was worrying like hell and I nearly pull off my fren's bf pants.

Visited the More More Tea Inn featured in the 'xia ri mo mo cha' movie acted by Sammi.
But I think they have relocated it to other side of the beach and its no longer a Inn.
The 2 storey Inn sells souvenirs now.
I din buy any souvenirs back becos nothing caught my eyes.
The best souvenirs are the memories of the marine life I saw under the clear blue sea.
I have touched jelly fish, sea cucumber, blue coral.
And I saw Nemo(so cute!!) and sorts of colourful fishes!!
But I din managed to see Gaint Groupa, sea turtle and baby shark.

Will try to upload some photos cos picture speak a thousand words.
My dad din realise I am back. Feel so invisible.
All he care abt is his camera. He gave a total of 5 missed call just to ask me to take gd care of his precious cam instead of asking me to take good care of myself.

I am still left with 34days of holiday.
School reopens on 7th of aug.
Should I go find a job or slack around?
I suddenly miss jogging. Tiff, Moo if you are free to jog, pls let me know k.
