Meet my new colleagues.
My department manufacturing(Mfg) is divided into 4 section. Mfg I-IV.
Each section takes care of different stages from the start to the end of wafer fabrication.
So each section actually depend on one another to make sure that the process flow smoothly in order to meet the daily wafer outs target.
Top from left: Sing Liean(Mfg IV) & Yi Xian(Mfg I).
Bottom from left: Me(Mgf II) & Audrey(Mfg III).
They are the same age as me except for audrey who is one year older.
But they came in a few months earlier than me.
I am still consider a freshie and I hate being a freshie *_*

Yi Xian is from nus while Audrey & sing liean are from ntu.
Audrey is in the same faculty as me and I din know it until I came to ssmc.
For all the 4 years in ntu we hv been sharing the same lecture hall, taking the same exams, brushing shoulder with each other along the north spine yet we din know each other.
Funny rite?
When I was first introduced to them, I was like 'Oh, so u were in ntu and in MAE oso!?!'
I was quite surprised but I couldnt recall seeing them in sch.

I am very glad to hv such young colleagues.
No wide age gap and alot of common things to talk about.
But I am always the quiet one.
How to be more talkative huh?
Audrey suggested an outing during our common off day.
Btw we are all currently in the morning shift.
All of us are quite on and one of them suggested to eat buffet.
Sing liean who is most thrify amongst us wanted a cheap buffet.

And I am proud to introduce them the dim sum buffet at Miramar hotel which is only $11.50++.(Tested and proven good)
I got buffet list of all the hotels in singapore.
Look for me if u want to eat buffet at hotel.
I will give u the best recommendation. ^_^
At first I thought there were only five of us going plus Jasman.
But later two more colleagues(Roy & Jian da) decided to join us after their work.
Btw the guys are from ntu too.
I can only remember Jian Da face coz I hv seen him a couple of times in ntu.
From left: Roy(Mgf IV), Jasman, Jian Da(both Mfg III).
Roy and Jian Da still look so energetic loh.
They hv worked 12hrs through the night and came down to eat dim sum with us after that.

The afternoon dim sum buffet has 23 dishes to choose from.
Me & Sing Liean were busy selecting from the menu.
We both hv diffculties reading the chinese words!
I see the need to brush up my lousy chinese coz I will be using chinese to interact with my MAs(manufacturing assistant) from PRC most of the time.
Jian Da suggested to order 2 each for all the 23 dishes which is really alot for 8 people!

Here are only 11 dishes and our table is almost full.
When we started to enjoy our food, more and more dishes came.
And it was too late to cancel our order.
We hv to eat at a rate which is faster than the rate the dim sum is cooked.
But the dim sum is every nice.
Soon the dim sum basket at our table are stacked higher than any other table around.

Lucky we managed to finish 80% of all the food.
Jian Da was the one who suggest to order all the dishes yet he was the one who eat the least among us.
Should force him to finish the rest of the food.
We almost forgotten about the desserts coz we were very full.
Honeydew sago is very sweet and the mango pudding is quite hard.
Can give it a miss if you are really full.
We took a group photo before we left.
Thank you Yi Xian for making the effort to bring the camera.
So that these wonderful memories are captured and written down.
We are planning the next outing..Cycling at East Coast Park.
Thats the flexibility of our working hours. ^_*
We are 'enemy' at the battlefield but good friends after work.
